All Students
- Black school trousers (NOT denim, jeans or corduroy)
Plain socks or black school skirt - this should be knee-length. - Plain black or flesh coloured tights or plain socks.
- Either Black polo shirt with logo and Black Academy V Jumper with red stripe OR Black Academy Cardigan with red stripe OR plain white school shirt with an Academy red and black tie with a Black Academy V Jumper with red stripe OR Black Academy Cardigan with red stripe OR Blazer with Academy logo.
- A coat is advisable in cold weather.
- Shoes must be plain black.
Sportswear
- Red and Black Academy Sports top.
Plain Black shorts / Black Tracksuit bottoms. (Both available from Friars, but may be purchased elsewhere.) - Sports trainers need to be worn for all PEW and sports lessons, fashion trainers / shoes are not acceptable.
- Pupils are allowed to wear football boots at certain points during the year, but these are not compulsory.
- Optional – Plain Black Sweatshirt for use in cold weather.
Jewellery
- Mainly for safety reasons, jewellery is not considered suitable for school.
- If earrings are worn they must be ‘stud’ or ‘sleeper’ earrings (one in each ear only), these must be removed for PE lessons by the pupil. Staff are not able to assist with this.
- Body Piercing is not acceptable.
- A watch may be worn, however, no other jewellery is allowed.
Hair
- Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable and hair may only be dyed to a naturally occurring colour.
- Long hair must be tied back for PE lessons.
Makeup
- Make up, including nail varnish, is not to be worn.
- False / acrylic nails are not to be worn.
